Bosque Farms school to get funding?
July 01, 2009
The estimated $15-million renovation and addition project for Bosque Farms Elementary School is still on hold, but district officials say by the middle of this month they’ll finally know if the state will help fund the project.
District officials met with officials from the Public School Capital Outlay Council in late June to discuss the project’s costs and funding.
The project has been important to parents and students at Bosque Farms Elementary because students will be moved to a different site during construction. With the project on hold and the funding uncertain, the district has yet to approve where it will move the students.
At last night’s board meeting, the board approved two contracts for the school, one for roofing consulting and the other for performance assurance services.
