Which citizens are involved in the bridge study?

July 24, 2009

Below is an official document from the Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) and D. Pennington & Associates identifying the citizen representatives on the interchange and bridge study’s citizens advisory board.

The board members represent areas in Valencia County that might be affected by a new interchange and bridge. All of the board members were selected because they live or own a business near the study corridor, according to Loretta Tollefson, a transportation planner with MRCOG.

The only exception to that rule is Rita Padilla-Gutierrez, who lives in Bosque but is a part of the board because of her close ties to Tome-Adelino. She was key to stopping a proposed bridge some nine years ago.
