Denish to marshal Rio Abajo parade

Lt. Governor Diane Denish is coming to town on September 26 to marshal the Rio Abajo Days light parade, according to Belen Chamber of Commerce President Michael Vallejos.

Let’s not forget that Sen. Michael Sanchez is still mulling a run against Denish for the Democratic nomination for governor in 2010. Sanchez, it seems, is still undecided, but has said he will soon make a decision about whether or not he’s going to run.

Denish has been in Valencia County quite a bit since announcing her intent to run for governor, including at a meeting of the Democratic Party of Valencia County in March.
