The Valencia County News-Bulletin noted yesterday that the Belen Consolidated Schools superintendent’s decision to move next school year’s start date up by a week didn’t sit well with at least one board member.
Her decision was reversed, according to the newspaper, and the district has found a new fix for the 180-day employee pay problem:
Goldberg said employees would now be paid on Aug. 21 as part of their regular pay cycle.
Valencia! reported about the pay problem several weeks ago.
